The time in lent is the time to have a look at our lives, to dive into ourselves and see our trip along the paths of God.

This time is full of signs which indicate us how we are walking; fundamental signs such as Exodus, desert, prophets, law, land, hope.

It’s a time during which, as a Movement which lives its faith, which walks in the Church, we should also see if we are being faithful to these things, which are the signs that show that we are walking along the right path which will allow us to reach Easter to be able to sit at the table with the One who has risen from the dead.

It’s a period of time to inquiry about the challenges we have faced, which leads us to look for and to consolidate ourselves in the Word of God to overcome the temptations of our times; the temptations which manifest in very different and subtle ways to make us fall.

This is the time to say that we want to be people committed to our faith, to our brothers, by being truthful disciples of our Lord, and to say that we are not afraid of looking at our reality because we want to be committed to it.

May this time of Lent help us to find the signs that God has sown in our Movement so when we discover them, we can become stronger in our faith and more committed to our brothers and sisters.
