The
"Golden Age "
Polish-Lithuanian
Commonwealth
The Jagiellonian era is often referred
to as the ‘Golden Age’ of Poland. The culture was flourishing, and the territory
of both states continued to grow. In 1569 the noblemen of Poland and Lithuania
decided to form one state, called the Commonwealth of Both Nations. However,
some differences between the two parts lasted.
