Masurian lakes
Masuria (Mazury) is a region in northern Poland, a vast land covered with numerous lakes. The area is often referred to as "a land of a thousand lakes", which hardly does it justice as the actual number of lakes is about four thousand. Masuria is a popular holiday destination for those who like canoeing, sailing, swimming or diving and the lovers of silence and walks in the forest.
