                     Letter n° 8 – Ref. Different kinds of information
 

To: International Commissioners from the ICCG member countries.


Dear friends,

A few lines to briefly report you.

1. We have had our World Committee Meeting in Rome between the 3rd and the 9th of last January. We have worked hardly in the evaluation of the first management year, visiting organizations of the Holy See and planning our next World Council and Meeting in Warsaw, Poland, in 2006.

2. The PSG (Pfadfinderinnenschaft St. Georg) in Germany is organizing, together with the DPSG and a Missio (by invitation made by the Pontifical Council of laics to the CICS and the ICCG) various activities for the guides and scouts who assist the WMY (World Meeting for the Youth) in Colonia. We also attach the convocation to participate in the Project “Orchestra” that, without any doubt, will be of interest.

3. The group “Education” from the Conference of International Catholic Organizations is organizing a working-day to study Education for peace on the 12th of March in Paris. We attach the invitation and documents.

Finally and in an agenda way, we remind you that:

• In November, 2004, we sent the Annual Report and the Invitation to the World Council and Meeting in Poland .
• In February we sent the document “ The call to Reconciliation” and the letter from the Polish Scouting and Guiding Association (ZHP)
