To the delegates of the Guide Associations
Participating in the World Meeting

Dear Friends,

With great joy have we received your registration forms. We are sure that you as well as we are expecting the days of the meeting to become an event that interrogates our lives, gives new friends, uncovers new projects and cheers us up to walk the Lord’s paths from the Guide pedagogy.

Because of that we invite you to the meeting of the Meeting, preparing yourselves personally and as National Association to be able to share from the dynamic of solidarity to the job of Guiding in the world of the girls and teenagers.

To do so, we are knitting , with the day-by-day programme the materials that are required to be brought..

® Three or four photographs of your city, neighborhood, region.
The images must show the places that have a particular meaning for you, or which are representative of the history of your town or that are linked to personal memories. With them we are going to present ourselves in the first meeting of the base groups.

® A small knitting from your country, made of wool or cotton,
traditional or modern, made by loom, crochet, or as you wish, made by the guides, or by yourselves or bought in a market. From the metaphor of the knitting it will express the importance of colors, the variety of textures and designs, the importance of the threads in the making of the cloth. There will be given an opening ceremony with a brief message of your association.

. For the 16th, time to star walking,

to going to Meet the place that receives us, time to let us be interrogated by the city and the people, the history and cultural realities:

® A small object (a handcraft)
each delegation must prepare an element that contains the symbol of Guiding in its country and the typical pray or spiritual meditation

. For the 17th, time to listen to the world of he girls and teenagers,

open our hearts confront and interrogate ourselves.

® A presentation of some of the realities we live at the level of the own country,
the most meaningful problems that affect the girls and teenagers and some of the projects that their associations take part in (alone or with other organizations) to give answers to these realities.

® Pictures of you and your guide groups,
in camp or service activities, in guide meetings or assemblies, taken a long time ago or a few months ago.

® And everything you wish to animate the party and the international fair…
food, music, dance, costumes, handcrafts.

® Pedagogical documents of your associations,
programmes and projects, posters and magazines.

® And… a future project you would be interested to do having a collaborating association or partner.
This project must be sent to the World Secretary in Word Format before the 30^th of June so that we can make a booklet with them.

® A simple present to give to the hostess Association in the Poland Party night.

® Some material (prays, reflections, songs)
to contribute with the Via Crucis and in the different moments of the pilgrimage.

® Make the guides of your Associations be present with your messages, pictures, good wishes, expectatives and opinions.

. Finally, we invite you to re-read Letter n° 12 (October 2005) where we already gave some practical instructions about the Meeting.

With the wish you already start living the meeting, with the hope to give steps in the ways that he lets us walk, thanking this opportunity that offers us being builders of the Kingdom.
