                                                     Letter n° 16 – Ref. 2006 World Council and Meeting

To the international commissionaires
of the ICCG member countries

Dear Friends,

With all our energies set in the organization of the World Meeting and following Council, we want to share some information and, also, some worries.

1. Up to the date 12 national Associations have concreted their registrations. We must be conscious about the importance that the participation in this instance has for the present and future of the ICCG. If the Conference is the associations that form it, the proposals, suggestions and points of view of each association are essential to project ourselves in the coming years.

On the other hand, it is essential for the organization of the Meeting and Council, for the Host Country and for the World Committee, counting soon with this information given the reservations we must book for transport, translation equipment, food, materials.

It is because of that that we extend until the day May the 10th                

the reception of registration forms.  For the Meeting   -   For the Council
Remember, also, that the countries that are required visa must first send their registrations to the international secretary and then contact the Poland Association of Guides and Scouts.

Respecting to the plane tickets of the countries, for the ones that count on a travel support, soon contact the treasurer, Marie Thérèse Marchand, who is working in the obtainment of the most accessible costs as possible.

2. Together with the Treasurer we have been working for almost two years in the search of economical support,
                  the same compromise each Region has taken, no doubt, each association must be compromised in the same effort. Beyond the international and ecclesiastic organisms we have contacted, we would like to make a call to solidarity to the Associations that can collaborate with the participation of another Organization with less resources. We thank you for the generous collaboration from AGESCI and Scouts et Guides de France in this sense.

3. We would also like to insist on the call for the candidacies according to the expressed matter in the Letter N° 14. We remind you that according to our Statutes the Candidate/s to World Responsible must be elevated before hand to the Holy See, reason why the deadlines are peremptory.

In this case the candidacy presentation is prolonged as a last date until Wednesday 10th of May.

4. The adaptation work of our Statutes of the Code of Canonical Law are requested by the Holy See with the advice of the Pontifical Council for the Laics has been minimum. We are waiting for the observations and comments by the AMGGS. We will keep you informed about the steps we go on advancing.
